Salary: £88–£100 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:
Five Education is currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic EYFS SEN Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in South Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges.
The successful candidate will support the development of young learners, helping to shape their educational journey through structured play, routine, and personalised interventions. You will play a vital role in fostering their confidence, communication, and social skills in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities tailored to each child’s EHCP
Provide consistent, individualised support to children with a range of needs
Support children with communication and emotional regulation
Encourage positive behaviour and model appropriate social interactions
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents/carers
Create a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment
Candidate Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEND in an EYFS or similar setting
Familiarity with strategies for supporting children with ASD, SEMH, and complex needs
A calm, patient, and proactive approach
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years (desirable but not essential)
Right to work in the UK
Willingness to undergo DBS and reference checks
(We can assist with processing a new Enhanced DBS for £62.70, refunded after 20 days of work)
