  Matthew is a former secondary art teacher who then transferred into education recruitment. After 10 year's working in mainstream and SEND recruitment; he set up Five Education with a goal to improve the quality and offer of recruitment in a crucially needed area.

  Phoebe joined Five Education in 2022 and places SEND teachers and LSAs in schools across Somerset and Dorset. Before this, she spent 10 years working in education as a further education lecturer and tutor, while also supporting education charities and working as a TA across a range of school settings.

  I have 6 years of experience in the compliance sector , previously having worked at Simply Education where I began as a compliance officer and was promoted to Compliance Quality Controller. 

  I have been with Five Education since June 2024 as a Senior Compliance & Vetting Officer. 

  I am a qualified lawyer with a passion for compliance, and I assist the Five Education compliance team covering Bristol, Plymouth and surrounding areas.

  Hello, I’m Emily, the Social Media and Marketing Assistant at Five. 

  I joined the company in July 2024 during my time at university and have continued in the role since graduating. I enjoy supporting the team with social media content, graphic design, and broader marketing activity.

  Dani has been part of the Five office team since March 2024. She first joined as a Resourcer before moving into her current role managing internal HR systems and coordinating training programmes, including Team Teach, Makaton, and other SEND-focused topics for our partner schools and candidates.

  Before joining the office team, she worked as a SEND Teaching Assistant through Five,  strengthening her passion for people-focused work and supporting young people.

  Dani graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Psychology in Education and is currently studying a Master’s degree in Organisational Psychiatry and Psychology at King’s College London.

  Outside of work, Dani enjoys playing netball, cooking, and travelling.

  I am the Branch Manager for Five Education’s Bristol office, having joined the organisation in 2024 as a Recruitment Consultant. I manage a team of Compliance Officers, Recruitment Consultants, Resourcers, and a Training Leader.

  I have a Masters in SEND and a BA Hons in Childhood and Youth Studies, as well as extensive experience in early years education in Bristol and London. I started my career as a Class Teacher, progresed to Reception Leader and finally Head of Early Years. I then worked as an Early Years Consultant before joining Five Education.

  In my current role I work closely with schools across Gloucestershire, Swindon, and Wiltshire. I find skilled professionals who are passionate about SEND and early years education.

  After graduating from the University of Bath with a degree in Spanish and French, I joined Five in September 2025 and I’ve loved every moment so far. I was a teaching assistant during my year abroad where I spent time in Lyon and Salamanca, and I resource for schools over the Bristol and Somerset area.

  I’m a long term Recruitment Consultant with over 10 years’ experience recruiting for the public sector. 

  I joined Five in 2025 to open up a brand new office in the Plymouth area, devoted to helping SEN children receive the care and support they deserve. 

  I believe every child should have the best education available to them, and I’m pleased to be a huge part of making that happen.

  Nasir joined Five Education in January 2024 after graduating in Business Studies and works as a Vetting and Compliance Officer. Outside of work, he enjoys watching movies and going to see Chelsea.

  Max is an Executive Consultant covering North, Central, and West Bristol and has been part of the Five Education team since November 2020. He is one of our busiest consultants, working closely with schools and candidates across the region to provide consistent support and build strong, lasting relationships.

  Outside of work, Max enjoys spending time with his family, training in Jiu Jitsu, and playing rugby.

  Blake is a Senior Consultant at Five and joined the team in April 2026 after spending three and a half years working at another education recruitment agency. 

  He works closely with schools and candidates across Bristol and BANES, supporting schools in finding the right staff and helping candidates secure rewarding roles in education.

  Outside of work, Blake enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes, with his speciality being a creamy steak pasta that he claims is unbeatable.

  Before moving into education recruitment, Bella worked for two years as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a secondary school in London, supporting students with a wide range of additional needs, assisting the SENDCo, and helping train new SEND staff members. Prior to this, she spent four years working as a Health Care Assistant and Support Worker across a variety of settings, supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs. Alongside her professional experience, Bella has volunteered with several youth charities, further developing her understanding of the challenges that can impact young people’s mental health, wellbeing, and learning.

  Bella joined Five Education in May 2026 as a SEND Specialist Recruitment Consultant and now works with mainstream and specialist schools across Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, and South Gloucestershire, sourcing and placing high-quality SEND staff. Her background in education, care, and mental health enables her to understand both the needs of schools and the importance of finding the right fit for candidates and pupils alike.

  Bella holds a BSc in Psychology, a counselling certificate, and is currently completing a Doctorate in Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology. Her academic background and practical experience have given her a strong understanding of the learning, behavioural, and emotional challenges young people may face, as well as the positive impact high-quality support staff can have on their progress, confidence, and inclusion

  Liza started with us in September 2024. She is our Payroll Coordinator and is based in the Bristol office, where she ensures payroll runs smoothly every week.
