Five Education was founded in July 2018 by a former teacher Matthew Webber. Many of the office staff at Five have worked with children or young adults in the past which often helps us to understand the needs of schools and SEND supply staff

We’ve been going from strength to strength ever since. We’re proud to be a trusted and popular choice for schools and candidates working within SEND settings and SEND within mainstream education.

From our Bristol office, we support schools across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Bath and North East Somerset, Wiltshire and Swindon. Our
Plymouth office covers Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall and Torbay.

I am the Branch Manager for Five Education’s Bristol office, having joined the organisation in 2024 as a Recruitment Consultant. I manage a team of Compliance Officers, Recruitment Consultants, Resourcers, and a Training Leader.
I have a Masters in SEND and a BA Hons in Childhood and Youth Studies, as well as extensive experience in early years education in Bristol and London. I started my career as a Class Teacher, progresed to Reception Leader and finally Head of Early Years. I then worked as an Early Years Consultant before joining Five Education.
In my current role I work closely with schools across Gloucestershire, Swindon, and Wiltshire. I find skilled professionals who are passionate about SEND and early years education.

I’m a long term Recruitment Consultant with over 10 years’ experience recruiting for the public sector.
I joined Five in 2025 to open up a brand new office in the Plymouth area, devoted to helping SEN children receive the care and support they deserve.
I believe every child should have the best education available to them, and I’m pleased to be a huge part of making that happen.

Hi, I’m Dani. My role includes managing our internal HR as an HR Advisor, as well as working as a Resourcer, recruiting candidates across Bristol, Somerset, Gloucester, and the surrounding areas. I’ve been working in the office at Five since March 2024.
Prior to this, I worked as a candidate for Five as a SEND Teaching Assistant in September 2023. Supporting students and seeing the positive impact I could make on their learning and development was incredibly rewarding and confirmed my passion for people-focused work.
I graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Psychology in Education and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree at King’s College London in Organisational Psychiatry and Psychology.

After graduating from the University of Bath with a degree in Spanish and French, I joined Five in September 2025 and I’ve loved every moment so far. I was a teaching assistant during my year abroad where I spent time in Lyon and Salamanca, and I resource for schools over the Bristol and Somerset area.

Kate has been a recruitment consultant at Five Education since April 2025, after 7 years working as an EFL teacher and Director of Studies in Florence. Prior to that, she completed her PGCE at Staffordshire university and taught GCSE and functional skills English at an FE college in Stoke-on-Trent. She covers South Gloucestershire, BANES and East Bristol.

Matthew is a former secondary art teacher who then transferred into education recruitment. After 10 year's working in mainstream and SEND recruitment; he set up Five Education with a goal to improve the quality and offer of recruitment in a crucially needed area.

Phoebe joined Five Education in 2022 and places SEND teachers and LSAs in schools across Somerset and Dorset. Before this, she spent 10 years working in education as a further education lecturer and tutor, while also supporting education charities and working as a TA across a range of school settings.

I have 6 years of experience in the compliance sector , previously having worked at Simply Education where I began as a compliance officer and was promoted to Compliance Quality Controller.
I have been with Five Education since June 2024 as a Senior Compliance & Vetting Officer.
I am a qualified lawyer with a passion for compliance, and I assist the Five Education compliance team covering Bristol, Plymouth and surrounding areas.
