We passed our Compliance + Audit!

Our decision to be APSCO accredited stems from our passion to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. ensuring our compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and improve overall protection of students and staff.

It demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement and accountability, ensuring we always operate with the utmost ethical recruitment practices and upholding the safeguard policies and procedures in terms of The Children Act 1989, Children and Social Work Act 2017 and Keeping children safe in education 2025 (KSCIE)

Our Director and Founder of Five Education, Matthew Webber and Designated Safeguard Lead (DSL) and manager, Beth Hoyle, are at the forefront of Five Education, being our main point of contact for safeguarding concerns, managing referrals to social care and providing advice and support to other staff

Our compliance team, Nasir Abdilahi and Taryn Jayaseelan are our ‘eagle eyes’ in ensuring Five Education follows all relevant policies and legislation to keep children safe by our thorough vetting processes, robust referencing procedure and adherence to internal and external code of conduct. Our team was prepared well in advance for the APSCO Audit and were well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to answer all enquiries during the audit.

Our efficient consultant, Kate Watts also participated in the audit and was able to utilise her advanced consultancy skills to ensure our on-boarding and interviewing processes were up to the highest standard.

Independent surveys were sent out to schools and candidates across Bristol and Plymouth, and we are so pleased and humbled to announce nothing but excellent reviews from our clients and candidates!
